When you produce apparel or footwear products, you’ll be aware of the complexity of the global legislative responsibilities you must meet in order to trade safely and legally. But how do you keep on top of these responsibilities when they are subject to change so frequently, and when the success of your business depends on them?

This webinar aims to answer the following key questions, to help you deal with these issues with confidence and clarity:

  • What are the newest restrictions for softlines products?
  • Is any legislation proposed that I need to be aware of?
  • What action is the industry taking to ensure restricted substances are under control?
  • Where can I find examples of best practice?

These will be illustrated by recall cases and industry reports, and there will be an opportunity to find out how SGS can help you tackle the challenges of chemical management.

  • Introduction
  • Restriction of chemicals and latest regulatory updates
  • Impacts and obligations
  • Sustainable chemical management – going beyond legal responsibilities
  • The SGS testing approach
  • Q&A
